Not sure why, but a month ago, I started experiencing problems with my skype account. All the newly added contacts and contacts that I have added recently delete themselves after each closing or readding and it is getting frustrating. I tried to consult a few people on that, but no one seems to be having this problem. Maybe someone from here can help me?

Let me see if I understand you right. After you add a contact, than close Skype that contact goes away, or gets deleted? Now you say readding, so what do you mean by this? Does the contact sometimes come back? What process are you adding the contacts? Are you excepting them when they send an invite, or are you adding them manually? If adding them manually you have to wait to be excepted. Explain more.

I was talking about contacts that already accepted me and never blocked me, this never happened to me till recently that they get deleted by themselves after I try to add them manually or after they add me first. That is why I still haven't figured out why I am having this problem.

Okay. Here is what I'd do. First I'd do a scan of my computer to learn if it has a virus. Next I'd remove Skype completely and reinstall the latest version with all the devices you need to make it work. Don't run the same protection program you've been using, but pick another on the list of best for say 2011. Run the free cleaning. Microsoft's is good, others. If you still have this issue contact Skype help and see what they say.

maybe they are just hidden. There is a feature to hide offline contacts and I believe it is under the view menue.

True, but hers shouldn't get hidden than unhidden unless she's using that feature thinking she's doing something else?

Is there a list of hotkeys for Jaws and Skype, somewhere?

I recently upgraded to Skype 5.5, never used it much before now, and am frustrated with tabbing around and often not seeing my list of contacts. Is there some easier way to accomplish the basic functions?

Thanks for any help.

You need to get the latest jaws scripts from www.dlee.org, that's one place to get the latest revision.

After you install the Scripts you should read the help file to learn how to use them. It works nicely.
